Substandard Physician Malpractice Insurance

Physicians and surgeons who do not fit standard insurance markets can rest assured that they can receive malpractice protection. Warschaw pioneered the concept of providing the best quality protection for these medical professionals while enabling their re-entry into standard markets (usually within two or three years).

Coverage is available through Professional Underwriters Liability Insurance Company (PULIC) or The Doctors' Company (TDC); both have consistently earned top ratings with insurance industry analyst A.M. Best Company and enjoy an excellent reputation within the insurance industry. Reinsurance is with Lloyd's of London and other premier insurers.

Warschaw programs offer claims-made policies with an incident-reporting policy and limits of $1 million per claim and $3 million annual aggregate. The policies are nonassessable and include a consent to settle option. Retroactive coverage is available as well as a generous extended reporting coverage option. Legal expenses are in addition to the limits of liability.
