Business Owner's Policy

BOP policies are very comprehensive Business Policies that insure Property, Liabilities, and Financial Risks associated with running your business. This can include:

* Property - Buildings, Equipment, Computer Systems,
Tenant Improvements
* Liabilities - General Liability, Employment practices
- Harassment, Discrimination, Benefit liability, Legal Liability, etc.
*

Financial Risks - Business Income Interruption,
Employee Dishonesty/Theft, etc.

Employment Practices Liability is generally NOT INCLUDED inside your General Liability or Property Policy and if it is included it is generally at a
very low limit and for DEFENSE ONLY. EPLI coverage will defend you in the event of liabilities brought from employees such as
wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, etc. For more information;

Much like a homeowners policy there are many times separate limits for different types of property e.g. Computers, and liabilities such as Harassment. Thus it is extremely important that you understand how you are covered and that the limits are designed and set to meet your needs. You do not want to find out at claim time how much coverage you do or don't have! Review this before you have a claim!!
